Philosophy
RRP believes that individuals, communities, and organizations are all capable of learning. To that end , all of RRP's projects focus on the process of learning about a place and its unique energy. RRP starts with an assumption that no one part of a community is more important than another and that all of the parts beliefs and dreams of a community can be incoporated into a plan or special project. At RRP, there are no pat answers - no one-size-fits-all. Every project is carefully crafted for the community, organization, or individual.
Your bylaws will last for a generation, and when somebody asks me how to draft these ungainly things, I will point them to the web page and tell them this is the genius of planning, and good government, and the right balance between caring for the future of a town and private property.
Paul Gillies, Vermont Land Use Lawyer, 2008
